Do you remember when?
If you are like me, you have been around computers for sometime. Or should I say, been around long enough to remember when personal computers first came out. I passed the option of getting the revered Commodore 64 and went right to an Apple IIe. I took out my very first consumer loan to buy it. I thought my 20mb harddrive was huge! I even got a dot-matrix printer. I paid $1800 for all this new stuff and a bunch of programs. I thought I was part of the technological era and was on top of the world! I really had no idea what I was doing with it other than it was cool and I now had a high tech typewriter. How crazy was that!
I know there are some of you out there that have stories like this and I would love to hear about them. If nothing else, please let me know I was not the only “wannabe geek but had no idea what a geek was at the time” person in the world. I am sure there are some very funny stories and I would love to share them with anyone who needs a smile or wants to laugh. Can anyone tell me what an 8088 processor is? LOL
